Grand Theft Auto 6 fans can breathe a sigh of relief again following the latest Take-Two earnings call, although it's not all good news.
Speaking to GamesIndustry.Biz, Zelnick said that day-one releases will only have a short-term benefit for subscription services.
"I think that offering a frontline title with a premium price in a subscription service, day and date, will push consumers to that subscription service for at least a time," Zelnick said.
Needless to say, Zelnick and Take-Two have absolutely no plans to change their minds about GTA 6 possibly coming to subscription services at launch.
"No, it won't affect our decisions," Zelnick continued. "Because our decisions are rational."
Grand Theft Auto 6 takes place in the state of Leonida, which is based in Florida.
Rockstar explains: "Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet."
The trailer gives fans a look some of the map locations as seen from the skies above. This includes locations based on the Florida Keys, as well as the beach and more.
Hopefully, we'll get a better look at the locations, as well as some gameplay in the next GTA 6 trailer, which is rumored to drop on October 4.
